Dealing with ADHD Inattentive Type can feel like cutting a path through the forest only to inadvertently invite the giant spiders out to weave.

At other times, it feels like  having the ability to create the world anew, ex nihilo, with every new idea/possible direction. That kind of power is a not a little addictive.

Unfortunately but not surprisingly, my experience with medical practitioners evidences a clear bias against diagnosing high-functioning adult women with this disorder with no thought to the overwhelming, life-long expectation that girls and women be (more) attentive and the assumption that passive inattention is simply daydreaming.
